Most “best tools for wholesalers” content is written by people who never logged in — recycled vendor marketing wrapped around affiliate links. We do it differently. When you see a “Hands-on tested” badge on a tool, it means we actually used it and wrote down what we found.
Full honesty up front: I'm Mark Anthony, and I'm learning wholesaling in public. I'm not a 20-year veteran — my edge is that I test the software myself, pull real data, and tell you the truth about what I find, including the limitations.
Our testing process
- We sign up like a real user. Free trial or a paid plan — and we note exactly which plan we tested.
- We run the core workflow. For skip tracing we run real lookups; for a CRM we build a pipeline; for a dialer we make calls. We test the job the tool is actually hired to do.
- We check the real pricing. What it actually costs, what’s gated behind upgrades, and the gotchas (per-lead fees, contracts, hidden limits).
- We document wins and limits. What genuinely worked and where it fell short — both go in the review, side by side.
- We score it. A 1–5 hands-on rating across setup, ease of use, core-feature quality, pricing value, and support.
- We keep it current. Tools change. We revisit and update when pricing or features shift.
Real data, always cited
Any market statistic we publish comes from a real, named source (like the Federal Reserve’s economic data) and is cited so you can check it yourself. If we can’t back a number up, it doesn’t go in. We never invent stats, ratings, or screenshots.
How we stay honest
- No fake “tested” claims. Untested tools simply don’t carry the badge — listings without it are from public info, clearly.
- Affiliate links don’t buy reviews. Commissions never change our scores or ordering; featured placements are labeled. Read the affiliate disclosure.
- AI-assisted, human-reviewed. We use AI to help research and draft efficiently, but a real person — me — reviews and is accountable for everything we publish. Full details in our editorial policy.
- We disclose conflicts. I build software in this space (including DispoStack). It never changes my honest take.
